Who We Are


Skipper LaurentLaurent grew-up in Brittany, on the West Coast of France and was exposed to sailing as a young teenager.
When he came to Canada in the eighties, he fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and bought his first boat, a 24ft cabin cruiser in 1990, which was followed by a Campion, a 27 ft Maxum and 3 Bayliners.
Laurent has been cruising from Seattle to Port Hardy and is very familiar with the entire area that includes the Sunshine Coast, Desolation Sound, the Gulf Islands and the Broughtons.
Laurent has a certification for Coastal Navigation, weather and radio operation from Cooper Sailing and Boating school. Laurent is fluent in both english and french.

Skipper BobBob first got his sea legs at the age of 8 years when he joined the Cub Scouts Sailing School. From there he went on to Sea Cadets and subsequently worked aboard a patrol vessel for the BC Counsel of Forest Industries (COFI) as a deckhand for 5 years.
Bob has extensively navigated most of the North American Continent from Baja to the Aleutians during his almost half a century of exploring nearly every inland & offshore waterway on the west coast. He has also spent considerable time Island hopping throughout S.E. Asia from the Philippines & Indonesia. Bob is a conscientious west coast angler who is passionate about responsible stewardship of the resource. Bob is a congenial host who strives to make your voyage an excursion you will remember for a lifetime.
